Description
Junior Firefighter Program
Ages 10-11 Years
By signing up for this program does not mean you have a guarantee spot. Saugeen Shores Fire Department will be in contact with all applicants whether they are accepted or not.
The Saugeen Shores Junior Firefighter program will run for six weeks with two- hour training sessions every Wednesday evening from 6:30-8:30pm.
- Program runs from Wednesday April 19th - May 24th
- Program is every Wednesday from 6:30-8:30pm
- Participants MUST be able to attend all sessions
This program will offer participants the opportunity to learn Fire Safety Training in the following areas:
- Home Fire Safety & Fire Extinguisher Training
- Auto Extrication Training
- Fire Truck Operations/Water Plant
- First Aid Awareness
Training will occur at Saugeen Shores Fire Station 60.
Located at 612 Emma St, Port Elgin, ON.
