Description
Interested in hockey but never had the opportunity to learn the game? Do your kids play and you'd like to know how to play too? Considering coaching but would like a better understanding of the fundamentals?
We've partnered up with local hockey coach Bill Buckton to deliver this beginner program designed for adults with basic skating skills and no hockey experience. Participants will learn the fundamentals of hockey and focus on skill development over the 5-week session.
Required equipment: Skates, helmet (with visor or cage), stick, gloves. Jock and pads recommended. Some players may wear full hockey gear.
Nut and allergy aware: Town of Saugeen Shores facilities and programs follow nut and allergy aware policies. Program participants are asked to not bring food items specifically containing nuts into facilities and programs, and to be aware of all common allergens.
