Town of BWG Vaccine Policy

The health and safety of the Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury employees and volunteers is a priority and the Town is committed to taking every precaution reasonable in the circumstances for the health and safety of workers from the hazard of COVID-19, and for providing a safe working environment for our employees, volunteers and members of the public with whom we interact. Vaccination is a key element in the protection of Town employees and volunteers against the hazard of COVID-19.

This policy recognizes that those who are unvaccinated pose a significantly increased risk of becoming seriously ill from COVID-19 and also spreading the virus to others, with significant impact on human health and workplace continuity.

The Town requires all staff and volunteers to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 within the limits of the Human Rights Code (Ontario).
