UBCO Recreation, Global Engagement Office, SUO Clubs and community partners are teaming up to offer a series of cultural physical activities events that welcome domestic and international students to participate in and learn about intercultural activities. Students will learn the foundational skills of these activities in a fun and engaging setting.

Join the Filipino Student Association for 2 hours of fun, round-robin style of basketball! The games are structured for a half-court 4v4 game and 25-minutes in length with a guaranteed 4 games per team. Register individually and teams will be formed day-of the games, ensuring a mix of players of all ages and skill levels.

Though basketball isn’t the Philippines' official national sport, the country's love for it is unparalleled. From bustling urban streets to rural villages, you’ll find makeshift courts in almost every corner. It’s a sport that transcends social and economic barriers, with people of equal passion—whether using a brand-new ball or a homemade hoop. Filipinos are not only skilled but deeply invested in the game, supporting local leagues and idolizing NBA stars. Basketball has become a unifying force, igniting the hearts of millions across the nation!

Join us for an opportunity to meet new people, enjoy friendly competition, and improve your game in an inclusive environment.

All abilities welcome, no experience necessary. Please bring indoor, clean, non-marking shoes, and comfortable clothing that you can move around in.
