Description
Through structured in-water interaction between parent & child, we stress the importance of play in developing water positive attitudes & skills. We provide Lifesaving Society Water Smart® tips on keeping your child safe in any aquatic setting. Families will learn holds and encourage front floats, back floats & how to wear a PFD. Designed for the 4 to 12-month-old learning to enjoy the water with the parent. 9 classes.
The Recreation Membership is NOT a pre-requisite to register for Kids programming. Taxes not applicable.
Activity meeting dates
Sundays 8-8:30am, Sept 15/24 to Nov 17/24. No class Sun Oct 13/24.

For registrations after 3rd class, please contact the program Supervisor, Beth Fisher - 519-824-4120 Ext. 52220 | bfisher@uoguelph.ca. Withdrawals/Refunds can be made prior to 2nd class by visiting Client Services or calling 519-824-4120 Ext. 56253. Refund amounts will be prorated for the classes that have already taken place and the $15 Withdrawal Fee will apply. Withdrawal/Refund requests after 2nd class require approval from Program Supervisor. No refunds after the 3rd class.
