Your Privacy Rights
Personal information is collected by The Active Networks for the University of Guelph under the authority of the University of Guelph Act (1964) and is done in accordance with the University's policy statement on the Protection of Privacy and Access to Information and, governed by both, the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, more commonly referred to as FIPPA, and the Personal Health Information Protection Act, or PHIPA. Both FIPPA and PHIPA stipulate that personal information about individuals may not be disclosed to persons outside the university community without the consent of the individual.
