Para Ice hockey for Beginners.
Everyone is welcome to participate - people with a physical disability and able-bodied people!
This session is open to people aged 8+ years who are new to sledge or just want to improve their basic hockey skills. Learn how to maneuver the sled, cut edges, make tape-to-tape passes, take wicked shots and engage in team plays. Test out your skills in a fun scrimmage at the end of each session. Equipment: A CSA approved hockey helmet with a full cage, hockey gloves and elbow pads are required. Chest protector and shin guards are strongly recommended. Equipment provided on a first-come, first-served basis.
All Hockey Programs are co-ed and participants must sign a waiver at the beginning of each session.
