Description
In this Village Vancouver Westside Neighbourhood Food Network workshop with Lori Snyder, you'll discover which native plants can be harvested to make incense cones. Simple easy DIY with many benefits for our spiritual practices and to purify our homes with plant's amazing healing aromatic chemical components. We'll have a community seed library present - pick up some free seeds for your garden, swap or donate seeds. Fee includes cost of all materials. Free for Seniors (65 and over; $8 materials fee only).

Children 8 years and older are welcome to register when attending workshop with a responsible adult. Registration for under 19 is only by phone or in-person.

Communicable Disease Health & Safety Practices:

• Participants should assess themselves daily for symptoms of common cold, influenza, COVID-19, or other infectious respiratory disease before attending the Facility.
• Participants who are ill, including participants of essential service providers, should not attend a program or access the Community Centre. If you are unsure, you should self-isolate and contact 8-1-1 or the local public health unit.
• All participants are encouraged to practice proper hand hygiene and respiratory etiquette by covering coughs or sneezes.
Requests for refunds must be received at least 24hrs prior to the 1st class, 2 days prior to the 2nd scheduled class for pro-rated refund. Refunds are subject to a $5 administrative fee.
