Description

Get Creative! provides a safe space for Two Spirit, Trans, and Gender Diverse (2STGD) children to connect and create!
  • Participants will collaborate on visual storytelling projects and discuss topics related to being 2STGD.
  • Bring a favourite sketchbook and pencil, or use provided supplies.
  • Classes will be led by Wake Darrah Cook, Emily Carr Alumnus and published comic artist.

Get Creative! is open to anyone who identifies as part of the 2STGD community (including gender creative and agender children) and their allies.

Communicable Disease Health & Safety Practices:

• Participants should assess themselves daily for symptoms of common cold, influenza, COVID-19, or other infectious respiratory disease before attending a program.

• Participants who are ill, including participants of essential service providers, should not attend a program or access the Community Centre. If you are unsure, you should self-isolate and contact 8-1-1 or the local public health unit.

• All participants are encouraged to practice proper hand hygiene and respiratory etiquette by covering coughs or sneezes.
