Description
Get fit, learn new skills, have fun, and make new friends. Novice Plus is where even more fun begins. Learn to top spin for your forehand, slice for the backhand and a consistent serve. Players will be introduced to tactics and strategies for singles and doubles. Please note: Permit fee is non-refundable. Please note: Permit fee is non-refundable. Tennis registration / refund procedures: The instructor reserves the right to assess and place participants in the level best suited for their success. Instructor's approval is required for registration after the first class (Beginner through Novice) and after the 2nd class (Lower Intermediate Level). No refunds will be issued after the program has started except for medical reasons (doctor's note must be provided) and rain outs (if instructor is unable to schedule make-up classes during the set). Lesson locations vary, please check your course location listed online and on receipt notes. Wind and rain outs: Check with the instructor, community centre, and/or programmer to get an update on the conditions of the court.
NOTE: The nature of the activity is such that you may interact with other people who are considered to be in good health, continuous physical distance between other people cannot be guaranteed, and, by participating in the activity, you are at risk of being infected by a pathogen, including but not limited to SARS-COV-2, which causes the disease COVID-19.
Communicable Disease Health & Safety Practices:

• Participants should assess themselves daily for symptoms of common cold, influenza, COVID-19, or other infectious respiratory disease before attending the Facility.
• Participants who are ill, including participants of essential service providers, should not attend a program or access the Community Centre. If you are unsure, you should self-isolate and contact 8-1-1 or the local public health unit.
• All participants are encouraged to practice proper hand hygiene and respiratory etiquette by covering coughs or sneezes.
