Description
Led by the Explorers Day Camp Leaders, join us this summer at Hillcrest for an action-packed week of fun games, arts and crafts, sports, and outdoor activities. Explore local and regional parks and weekly out-trip destinations while learning something new! Each day will be filled with exciting activities to keep your child engaged throughout the summer.
Junior - for ages 5.5* to 8
Senior - for ages 9 to 12
Youth Leadership Camp - for ages 12-14
* Children must have completed kindergarten and be eligible for grade 1 in the coming school year in order to register for camp.
Activity calendars and consent forms will be available closer to, or at least one week before the first day of camp. Please ensure we have an up-to-date e-mail address on your account to receive this information.
Extended Before and After Camp Care is available for registered Explorers campers - please register separately.
IMPORTANT NOTE: We will not be accepting waitlists for all summer day camps. Registration is available on a first-come-first-serve basis only. If the program is full, please check back for future openings.

IMPORTANT NOTES, PLEASE READ:
• Children must have completed kindergarten and be eligible for grade 1 in the coming school year in order to be eligible for camp.
• Please pack a nut free snack, lunch and a pre-filled water bottle for your child each day and dress appropriately for the weather.
• For the safety of your child, a Parent/Caregiver Consent Form must be completed and received at the centre prior to or on the day of your child's first day in camp. Children will not be permitted in the program until the completed form is received.

• This is not Hillcrest Swim N' Skate Camp
REFUND POLICY:
• Full refund will be provided for any cancelled or altered community centre program.
• For regular programs, refund requests must be made at least 48 hours prior to the 2nd class. Refunds are prorated. No refunds thereafter.
• For one-day sessions, special events, private music lessons, and week-long programs (ie. day camps), refund requests must be made at least 7 days prior to start of program. No refunds thereafter.
• Refunds will be not issued after this time unless approved by a Recreation Programmer or Community Youth Worker.
• A $4.00 administration fee for each program will be charged for refunds within these guidelines
• Refunds for payment made by cash or cheque will be refunded in a cheque form and may take up to 14 days to process.
