Description
Learn how to play tennis in a small group setting. This course provides an introduction to the game with an eventual progression to rally and play within the full court setting.
Student Background
Beginning or continuing to:
- Develop technique for groundstrokes.
- Develop ability to rally consistently from the 1/2 court and 3/4 court settings.
Development Focus
- Develop a solid technical foundation for groundstrokes.
- Introduce players to cooperative and competitive rally games.
- Develop a love for tennis in a positive environment.

Notes
- No refunds after the second class.
- All students MUST sign a copy of Summer Smash's liability waiver PRIOR to playing.
- Please meet the instructor at the assigned tennis court.
- All tennis lessons are taught by a Tennis Canada Certified instructor.
- Students are expected to bring their own racquets to the lesson, and to come dressed in athletic clothing with athletic shoes.
- Students should bring a water bottle.
NOTE: The nature of the activity is such that you may interact with other people who are considered to be in good health, continuous physical distance between other people cannot be guaranteed, and, by participating in the activity, you are at risk of being infected by a pathogen, including but not limited to SARS-COV-2, which causes the disease COVID-19.

Participants should assess themselves daily for symptoms of common cold, influenza, COVID-19, or other infectious respiratory disease before attending the Facility.

All participants are encouraged to practice proper hand hygiene and respiratory etiquette by covering coughs or sneezes.
