Description

Would you like to start saving your own seeds? If so, then this is the perfect time of the year to start thinking about saving seeds from your garden! In this Village Vancouver Westside Neighbourhood Food Network workshop, Rhiannon Johnson will provide you with the knowledge needed to understand the basic principles behind seed saving and the skills necessary to begin saving seeds. Children 12 and over welcome, must be accompanied by a parent, guardian, or other appropriate adult. Free for Seniors (65 and over; $5 materials fee only).

Notes
Children 8 years and older are welcome to register when attending workshop with a responsible adult. Registration for under 19 is only by phone or in-person.

Participants should assess themselves daily for symptoms of common cold, influenza, COVID-19, or other infectious respiratory disease before attending the Facility.
Participants who are ill, including participants of essential service providers, should not attend a program or access the Community Centre. If you are unsure, you should self-isolate and contact 8-1-1 or the local public health unit.
All participants are encouraged to practice proper hand hygiene and respiratory etiquette by covering coughs or sneezes.

Requests for refunds must be received at least 24hrs prior to the 1st class, 2 days prior to the 2nd scheduled class for pro-rated refund. Refunds are subject to a $5 administrative fee.
