Description

An introduction to Yoga. Your Pre-Teen will learn breathing techniques, meditation, mindfulness and yoga pose sequencing, known as asanas. They will explore visual imagery and relaxation techniques while conveying lessons in self expression, body image, social skills, positive thinking, and environmental awareness. Classes are designed for men and women 55+, registration is not necessarily limited to that age group

Please bring your own Yoga/Pilates mat.

Communicable Disease Health & Safety Practices:

Participants should assess themselves daily for symptoms of common cold, influenza, COVID-19, or other infectious respiratory disease before attending the Facility.
Participants who are ill, including participants of essential service providers, should not attend a program or access the Community Centre. If you are unsure, you should self-isolate and contact 8-1-1 or the local public health unit.
All participants are encouraged to practice proper hand hygiene and respiratory etiquette by covering coughs or sneezes.

Refund Policy: A $5 processing fee will be charged for all program refunds and transfers. 48 hours notice is required and there will be no refunds granted after the scheduled second class.
