Description
This 9 class session will introduce the beginner to a successful way to understanding and use of acrylics and for those more advanced who feel they need some mentoring and encouragement to be more creative or simply are in need of some class time to restart their passion. I do come prepared with photos you can use but mostly it is encouraged that you come with your own photos or other artists work you wish to copy to learn from. It is still a good way to learn when we feel we want to try something new is to copy another artist’s work. We don’t have to always be trying to create a new style as it probably has already been done. The beginners will complete on a small canvas a simple painting each week using photographs I will supply, except for the first class which will be an overview of the medium, a basis drawing lesson, a basic introduction to colour and how to use it and where and what to buy your supplies, so when you do purchase your them you will do so with knowing what to ask for. I mix this class purposedly with beginners and mid to advanced students as I feel all can learn from each other. Never a dull moment in class. Bring a friend and let’s have some fun.
