GirlsCANCompute: Computational Linguistics Club

Do you have an interest for math, computer science or languages? Do you enjoy problem solving? Join our youth-led program for Girls+ to explore the interdisciplinary field of computational linguistics! No prior second language or coding experience is necessary. We will prepare for the North American Computational Linguistics Open Competition, as well as engage in various discussions on influential women in computer science/AI and their impact on the field. There will also be potential guest speakers and mini-lessons on different topics within the subject.
