Ignite your creativity and embark on a magical journey into the world of fiction. In this program, we’ll explore the essential elements of storytelling, including relatable characters, descriptive writing, and effective dialog. From there, we’ll delve into the art of crafting compelling narratives and engaging plots. Through a series of exercises, you’ll unlock your imagination and cultivate your storytelling abilities. We will do this in a supportive environment where you can collaborate with fellow aspiring writers, boost your confidence, and take your first steps towards becoming a skilled author of fiction. Please bring a laptop or a notebook.

NOTE: The nature of the activity is such that you may interact with other people who are considered to be in good health, continuous physical distance between other people cannot be guaranteed, and, by participating in the activity, you are at risk of being infected by a pathogen, including but not limited to SARS-COV-2, which causes the disease COVID-19.


Communicable Disease Health & Safety Practices:

• Participants should assess themselves daily for symptoms of common cold, influenza, COVID-19, or other infectious respiratory disease before attending the Facility.

• Participants who are ill, including participants of essential service providers, should not attend a program or access the Community Centre. If you are unsure, you should self-isolate and contact 8-1-1 or the local public health unit.

• All participants are encouraged to practice proper hand hygiene and respiratory etiquette by covering coughs or sneezes.

Refund & transfer policy

Programs

-Full refunds and transfers to another program will be issued for any program cancelled by the Association.

-Full refunds and transfers to another program, minus the $5.00 administration fee, will be issued to the purchaser with a full 48 hours’ notice of the first advertised class.

-For refund & transfer requests received up to 24 hours after the second advertised class, the purchaser will be charged the $5.00 administration fee and the cost of the first two classes. After this time there is no refund.

-Cancellation requests can be submitted to tlcc@vancouver.ca or phoning the front desk 604.257.6955

-Registrations are non-transferable to another person.
