Description
The Summer Intensive Guitar Program (SI-G) invites classical guitar lovers 12 years and up to explore the art of the classical guitar with VCM faculty and international guests. Beginners, intermediate, and advanced players will find engaging activities including individual lessons, technique sessions and masterclasses. SI-G 2023 is a relaxed, focused and encouraging learning environment where you may expand and refine your classical guitar skills with some of Canada’s top guitar performers and international guests. At least one year of guitar study is recommended.

Program Details:
This is a full course offering, running from 10:00am to 5:30pm Tuesday - Saturday. Daily program will include a technique warmup, orchestra rehearsal, individual lessons, and masterclasses. Students will have the opportunity to perform in the orchestra concert from 2:00-3:00pm on Saturday and attend all faculty recitals.

REFUND POLICY
Program viability is based upon minimum enrollment. As such, there are no refunds available after the registration deadline (in most cases, four weeks prior to the program start date), except in cases of injury or illness (for which a Doctor’s note is required), or other exceptional circumstance, such as family re-location.
Prior to the registration deadline, tuition may be refunded, pending the approval of the Artistic Director. Application and transaction fees are non-refundable. Withdrawal requests must be made in writing to the VCM Registrar’s Office. Requests made after the completion of a given program will not be considered.
