Improvise Blues on Keyboard!

For Ages 13+ and Adult

Over the course of this six-week program, students will explore blues piano techniques through the following modules:
  • Improvisation using blues scales
  • Essential blues chord progressions
  • Connection between blues and gospel music

Taught by Contemporary Pianist Danuel Tate, each day includes students sharing their progress and thoughts on what they've learned, leading to each student creating their own unique take on improvising in a blues style.

Prerequisite: Minimum keyboard skill level recommended: Advanced Beginner

Dates/Times: Wednesdays from 6:30pm - 8:00pm, starting July 21, last class August 25
