Learning General: Empowering Patient Workshop 1- Health Care

Navigating the BC Health Care System: with a focus on hospital discharge planning, home care, and residential care. Our healthcare system is complex, fragmented, and currently under massive stress. In order to get the care we need we must be informed, empowered and assertive. This workshop focuses on understanding care in hospital, discharge planning, and a focus on understanding both private and public-subsidized home care services and residential care.
