Description

Develop your watercolour skills in this fun beginner’s workshop using exercises to paint coloured fluffy roosters with Sonia Mocnik at the beautiful Music Box by the sea. You will learn about colour mixing, washes, paper prep, and complimentary and analogous colour. All materials provided.

Sonia Mocnik draws inspiration from the natural world, from land to sea. She is constantly exploring new watercolour techniques while seeking to capture the essence of colour and light. She is an active member of the Federation of Canadian Artists, and you can find her studio at Portside Art Studios in East Vancouver. Sonia is a West Vancouver art instructor participating in the Staying Curious exhibition at the Ferry Building Gallery (January 11 - February 3, 2024).
