Description

Join Ferry Building Gallery exhibiting artist and West Vancouver art instructor Tracey Hayes for a workshop at the Music Box on the waterfront. You will learn to use wool roving to create a round colourful felted vessel using a ball and wet felting technique. Suitable for all skill levels. Ages 12 and up.

About the instructor: Tracey Hayes has a BFA from UVIC and a diploma in classical and 3D animation from VFS. After a 12 year career in the industry, she has returned to her fine art roots and creates west coast inspired abstract art along with painting murals, illustrating children's books and facilitating art classes and workshops for children and adults. Her work is inspired by her love of travel, wildlife and the serenity of nature with vibrant spots of colour and texture.
