Canadians throw away 3 million tons of plastic waste every year, only 9% is recycled, and most plastics end up in landfills. Using materials that will remain on our planet forever, this workshop offers a meaningful aesthetic intervention: instead of going to the landfill, they will hang in homes to remind us that what we discard does not disappear. Presented as part of the Artspeaks series at the Harmony Arts Festival, with generous funding support from the West Vancouver Foundation.
