Notes
About the instructor: Marianne Hansen is a self-taught artist based on the Sunshine Coast, BC. Her Scandinavian heritage has been woven into her artistry from an early age. Deeply influenced by her coastal surroundings and memories of childhood in the Canadian Rockies, natural found objects often become integral to Marianne's creations.

Her work draws inspiration from the organic rhythms of textures and patterns, forming a unique language in each piece. Whether hand stitching, weaving, spinning, or felting, Marianne finds joy in the meditative repetition of these processes, embracing the quiet contemplation and creativity they bring.
