About the instructor: Patricia Pender has been knitting for 80 years. Originally from Australia, she learned to knit from her grandmother and mother, during a time when hand-knit clothing was more commonplace. Patricia is also a weaver and has knitted a wide range of clothing, including suits, coats and jackets. She taught knitting at Silver Harbour Centre in North Vancouver for the past five years.
