The District of West Vancouver is committed to protecting your privacy. Personal information you provide is collected for the purpose of registering for recreation programs, activities and services, in accordance with section 26(c) of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act. Your information will be used for the purpose of administering recreation programs, activities and services.
Enhance West Van
Customers enrolling in a program or activity of the West Vancouver Community Centre, Aquatic Centre, or Ice Arena are required to purchase an Enhance West Van membership. Enhance West Van members’ names and email addresses will be shared with Enhance West Van, the society overseeing the community recreation services of the West Vancouver Community Centre, Aquatic Centre and Ice Arena, for the purpose of communicating with its members about its programs, events, and fundraising campaigns.
ePACT
The personal information may be shared with our third party service provider, ePACT Network Ltd. (“ePACT”) for the purposes of administering our emergency notification program. Where applicable, you will receive an email inviting you to open an ePACT account following registration. Your ePACT account will provide emergency notification services for your District of West Vancouver programs and may also be used for any other organizations that subscribe to ePACT’s services as directed by you. Please note that your personal ePACT account is subject to the privacy standards outlined in ePACT’s Terms of Use Agreement and ePACT’s privacy policies and procedures. Only that information that is shared between the District and ePACT is subject to the District’s privacy policies.
