Presenter: Ramina Khusnutdinova -

In this practical course, I will be sharing the latest research on brain development, how a child's brain is wired, and how it matures. The latest discoveries of neuroscience help us to better understand children's behaviours - their thoughts, tantrums and emotions. The focus of this course is to introduce the concept of cognitive abilities such as impulse control, reason, problem-solving, working memory, and the cognitive flexibility. By applying these discoveries to everyday parenting/teaching, we can turn any outbreak, clash, or fear into a chance to integrate a child's brain and foster vital growth.

As a Registered Clinical Counsellor and School Psychologist, I specialise in early child development. I’m devoted to understanding how children’s brains evolve as they grow up and how the environment and genetics influence that transition. Graduated with a Master's degree in Educational Psychology, worked in schools, mental health institutions and have experience in parental guiding and in coaching educators.
