Description
This free 12 week instructor-led program allows seniors to spend time together walking and socializing. Participants will be provided with an initial assessment of their balance and strength to set realistic short- and long-term goals. The program session will consist of a warmup, walking session promoting posture and good gait, balance exercise using a chair for support, when necessary, a core component, followed by stretch and relaxation and social time. At the last session participants will undergo a second assessment to see their progress and have an opportunity to set new goals.
