Description: Register your child(ren) for Summer Day Camp at Ches Penney Family YMCA location. From outdoor play and hiking adventures, excursions to nearby parks and playgrounds, scavenger hunts, archery, to inside activities that include swimming, arts and crafts, science activities and many other gross motor activities, your child(ren) is sure to have a blast. Summer Day Camp is Monday to Friday from 8-5pm, unless a holiday is scheduled. Camp Fees and Refund Policy

All payments are due at time of registration. Refund policy: a two-week notice is required except in case of illness (doctor's note is required). A $25.00 non-refundable administration fee (per child, per week) will be deducted for all day camp refund requests. No refunds for missed days. Emergency closures will not be refunded. Approved refunds will be issued by cheque, which may take up to three weeks to be processed and mailed.

Complete Camp Enrolment Waiver

I give permission for my child to participate in the camp program and all activities unless I advise you otherwise in writing. I agree that having taken such precautions as in your discretion are deemed advisable, the YMCA shall not be held responsible for any accident or sickness to my child, or for loss or damage to his/her personal property. I understand that pictures taken at camp may be used for promotion. I understand my child may be asked to complete a swim test if they are participating in pool rentals, day camps, open swims, etc. This test will determine if they are a swimmer or non-swimmer and if they would be able to adhere to aquatics supervision guidelines. This test will include without a lifejacket, do a feet first jump into the deep end and swim without stopping/holding onto rope or side of the pool to the shallow end. I understand my child may be asked to complete a swim test if they are participating in pool rentals, day camps, open swims, etc. This test will determine if they are a swimmer or non-swimmer and if they would be able to adhere to aquatics supervision guidelines. Should a medical emergency arise whereby staff of the YMCA were unable to contact me, I the undersigned hereby authorize the staff of the YMCA to give consent for medical examination, diagnosis and treatment of the registrant until such time as I am notified. By providing my email address I consent to receiving the YMCA of Newfoundland and Labrador’s newsletter and other commercial messages regarding the YMCA of Newfoundland and Labrador’s products and services. Consent may be withdrawn at any time using the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the newsletter or by contacting us at info@nl.ymca.ca. Areas surrounding the YMCA facility and playground spaces such as but not limited to; Pippy Park, Fox Avenue Park, École Des Grande-Vents, and/or trails around the YMCA building are used to enhance programming.

YMCA Day Camp Drop-off and Pick-up Procedures
