Description
Bronze Cross begins the transition from lifesaving to lifeguarding and prepares candidates for responsibilities as assistant lifeguards. Candidates strengthen and expand their lifesaving skills and apply the principles and techniques of active surveillance in aquatic facilities. Bronze Cross emphasizes the importance of teamwork and communication in preventing and responding to aquatic emergencies.
Bronze Cross is a prerequisite for advanced training in the Society’s National Lifeguard and leadership certification programs.
Note: Successful completion of Bronze Medallion is required prior to Bronze Cross.

Must have complete Bronze Medallion. 100% Participation required.
Cancellation/Refund Policy: Minimum of 5 business days notice is required to receive a full refund, otherwise, a single transfer to a selected course will be made available at no cost. If more than one transfer is done, a $20 transfer fee will be charged. Refunds or credits will be be issued on or after the course has started except for medical reasons. A doctor's note must be provided. All refunds, credits or transfer must be done through email or phone to the Aquatics Manager. All NO SHOWS will be charged full registration with no refund. Non-attendance does not constitute as a notice of withdrawal.
