Description
This course is part of the Quebec governments free lifeguard program designed to address the lifeguard shortage that has been affecting the province since the Covid-19 pandemic. All lifeguard classes will be free including this one until further notice. We are requiring a 50$ deposit to ensure everyone shows up for the course. Once the course is over, and participants have attended the course consistently and completely, that deposit will be returned.
Prerequisite: Bronze Medallion.
Bronze cross is a prerequisite for the national lifeguard program and is designed for lifesavers. It provides more advanced training and an introduction to safety and prevention in aquatic facilities.
May only miss 1 class. If the exam is missed, participants must register for a challenge exam. This costs $100 for members and $118 for non-members.
**Please note: a fob is required for this class. If you do not already have one you have to purchase one for 10$ at the front desk.
