The following individuals are now eligible to book an appointment for a COVID-19 vaccine:
- York Region residents 60 years of age and older (born in 1961 or earlier)
- Highest, very high and high priority health care workers as identified in the Ministry of Health’s guidance on Health Care Work Prioritization that work or live in York Region
- Staff and essential caregivers that have not yet received a first dose in long-term care homes, retirement homes and First Nations elder care homes
- Staff, residents and caregivers in retirement homes and other congregate care settings for seniors
- Indigenous adults and members of their households
- Eligible adult recipients of chronic home care
- Faith leaders who live or work in York Region AND provide end of life care, care of the deceased, care of those who are unwell or provides pastoral services in vulnerable settings
- York Region residents 35 years of age and older (born in 1986 or earlier) who lives in one of the following postal codes: L4L, L6A, L4K, L4J, L3S or L4H
- Special Education Teacher that work or live in York Region
- Pregnant Individual
Proof of age and residence will be required on the day you receive your vaccine. If it is found that you do not meet the above criteria, this booking may be cancelled or you will be refused the vaccine on the appointment date.
