Description

The YorkSafe Food Handler Certification workshop, taught by public Health Inspectors, will train people how to safely prepare, store and serve food.

This one-day workshop will take you through various topics from, cross-contamination, personal hygiene, cleaning and sanitizing and much more.

This interactive workshop, filled with activities, videos and case studies, will help prepare for the certification exam.

A mark of 70 percent on the exam is required to pass and become certified. The certification is valid for five years.

As the client, you will have the option to receive your YorkSafe Food Handler Certification manual the day of the workshop or pick-up prior to the workshop. The manual is also available for download from the York Region Food Handler Certification web page.
