Description
The Red Cross Stay Safe! program offers basic first aid and safety skills for children and youth 9-13 years old. Participants learn about being safe when they are without the direct supervision of a parent, guardian, or trusted adult, both at home and in their communities.
Meeting Dates: March Break, Wednesday March 16 & Thursday March 17, 2022
Meeting Times: 9am - 12pm
Location: Online, Virtual Program via ZOOM
Cost: $36 per participant (includes manual and certificate of completion)
Ages: 9 years of age (or completion of grade 3 - please call our office for registration assistance at 519-631-9800)
Notes:
Program materials are required to be picked up at a YWCA office location (St. Thomas, Aylmer, West Lorne) in advance of the program. Virtual programs require access to a computer or other device with camera/microphone and sufficient internet for participation on the specified dates/times. This virtual program will be hosted on ZOOM. If you have not used ZOOM before, please review information on Getting Started with ZOOM prior to registering. Programs will only run with sufficient registrations.
Refunds will not be issued after the session begins, for connectivity or technological challenges that prevent program participation or completion, or course non-completion.
