Niagara Falls Watercolour Image
Janice Opie will be conducting four workshops, the first three from photos taken during her hikes in the Niagara Area.

This watercolour paint-along of the American falls utilizes techniques such as negative painting, glazing, wet on wet. She will demonstrate capturing depth incorporating background, midground and foreground, value (light and dark of a picture) and colour temperature will also be touched upon.

Some watercolour experience required.

Student required to bring the following colours:
  • Cobalt Blue
  • Lemon or Cad Light Yellow
  • Alizeron Crimson
  • A Teal or Turquoise
  • Burnt Sienna
  • Sepia

Brushes to bring are:
  • Either mops and/or #12 round brush
  • A #6 round brush
  • A rigger brush.

All other supplies provided.

Please arrive at least fifteen minutes prior to scheduled start to set up your painting area as we will start sharp on time
