When you register for programs or services using Active Net, the City of St. Catharines collects the personal information you provide only when voluntarily submitted in accordance with the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (MFIPPA). This information will be used to:

• process your registration in programs and services of your choosing or for further information;

• communicate with you regarding services or products that you have requested - for example, to send you a statement or a receipt;

• identify you if you have a query or concern about the program or service that you have requested;

• advise you about changes to our web service offerings and of service interruptions; and

• meet legal and regulatory requirements.
