Description

Shadow Play

This is the third of three paint-along workshops with Janice Opie, this time utilizing “on canvas” mixing techniques as well as glazing. Students will learn one point perspective as well as the “backlit subject” technique while creating depth with shadow play.

Student to bring the following colours:
  • Cobalt Blue
  • Lemon or Cad Light Yellow
  • Alizeron Crimson
  • Burnt Sienna
  • Sepia

Brushes to bring are:
  • Either mops, and/or #12 round brush
  • a #6 round brush and a rigger brush.

All other supplies provided.

Some watercolour experience required.

Please arrive at least fifteen minutes prior to scheduled start to set up your painting area as we will start sharp on time
