Description

Join us for St. Johns Ambulance Babysitting Course.

Future Babysitters will learn:
  • How to become a successful babysitter
  • Skills necessary to care for infants, toddlers, preschools, and school-aged children.
  • How to manage childhood behaviours.
  • How to handle emergencies.
  • Basic first aid, infant and child CPR, choking and much more.
Take home materials:
  • Babysitting Basics Reference Guide
  • Babysitting Certificate
  • Small First Aid Kit.
Please remember to bring a doll or stuffed animal large enough to be diapered, a lunch and a pencil on the day of the course. The course runs from 9:00am to 4:00pm. Parents/guardians must walk children into the building and come in at the end of the day to pick them up.
