Presented in partnership with the Mayholme Foundation, the Family History Workshop will be led by Museum Programming staff, as well as Mayholme Research Professionals to offer an engaging hands-on tutorial on specific
resources, tools, and knowledge that participants can utilize to organize, preserve and share their personal family histories for future generations.

The Family History Workshop will be two full days and will cover useful knowledge and tools needed to effectively and efficiently organize and preserve family photographs and records, care for family heirlooms, and record family stories through oral histories interviews and written documentation.

New for Fall 2024: genealogy session and local history research session led by the Mayholme Foundation.

This two-day workshop takes place at two locations - the first day (Nov. 16) at the Mayholme Foundation, 525 Ontario Street, and the second day (Nov. 23) at the St. Catharines Museum and Welland Canals Centre.

Each participant receives a family history kit with equipment to start on their project and a Family History Workshop workbook.

Advance registration only. Space is limited. $56.65 plus HST per person.
