Stratum Dance Workshop

Stratum is an outdoor performance installation combining dance and textile arts, in which these two elements shape and transform each other during the process and performance itself. Sarah will facilitate an introduction to the textile installation, and highlight the different elasticity, weight, width and length of the textile strips. The dancers will then give a demonstration and invite workshop participants to have a hands-on experience with the fabric using either freestyle movement or guided movement prompts. At the end of the workshop participants will be allowed free exploration time inside the nest.
