Program Refund Policy

All requests for refunds and/or credits must be submitted IN WRITING to the Town of Georgina Recreation & Culture Department. Aquatic Leadership Course and Day Camps require five (5) business days prior to the start of the first class. All refunds are subject to a $25 administration fee ($35 administration fee for camp) per participant or a credit will remain on the family account at no charge. Refunds will not be issued if withdrawal affects minimum numbers and written notice is received after five (5) business days with the exception of medical reasons combined with a physician's verification. Where possible, transfers received prior to the start of the first class will be permitted only within the same session/season at no charge. Non-attendance by a participant does not constitute a notice of withdrawal from a class or program.

If the scheduled program is cancelled by the Town of Georgina for any reason, you are entitled to a full refund. Contact Recreation and Culture Dept. to obtain a refund.

NSF Cheques

An administration charge of $35.00 will be applied to all NSF (Non-sufficient Funds) cheques. The participants/customers will be withdrawn from the program or the facility permit will be cancelled.

Release

I hereby release, waive and forever discharge the Corporation of the Town of Georgina, its employees, agents and contractors from all claims, demands, actions, causes of action, damages, costs and expenses of any kind in respect of death, injury, illness, loss or damage to my person, or to the named child or to my property, howsoever caused, arising or to arise by reason of my participation or to the named child's participation in any program in any location where the program is held. Upon payment, I acknowledge having read, understood and agreed to this waiver and release. I hereby give permission to have staff arrange for any emergency medical care including transportation if necessary. Where children are involved, attempts will be made to contact named parent, guardian or emergency contact first. The participant is responsible for his/her own medical coverage.
