GST & TAX INFORMATION

GST is included in all adult programs and rental fees. Children's programs and Out of School Care are GST exempt. Please keep this receipt for tax purposes. A $25 administration fee will incur for reprinting of receipts. GST# 13328 0883.

RECREATION PROGRAM CANCELLATION POLICY

Mid-Sun Community Association programs are subject to being cancelled if registration does not meet minimum participant requirements up to 4 days prior to the start date. Every effort will be made to transfer affected registrations to a suitable alternate program. If a class is cancelled, a credit will be applied to your MSCA ActiveNet account**, or a refund will be processed on request.

Credits can not be used for subsidized programming (Example: off-site events, workshops or activities)

MISSED CLASSES

If a participant is unable to attend a class, no make-up class, refund, or credit will be offered. In the event that MSCA has to cancel a single class, a credit will be applied to your MSCA ActiveNet account**, but no refund will be permitted.

Recreation and Creative Arts Programs Refund and Credit Policies

If you cancel your participation in a program and the withdrawal occurs between 14 and 7 days before the program start date, a full refund will be issued. Administration Fees may be applied to refunds if the withdrawal is made less than 7 days before the program start date unless your spot can be filled. Refunds or credits will not be given for amounts under $10.00 unless a result of our Facility or Instructors having to cancel. If your withdrawal affects the minimum class size, no refund or credit will be granted. Registration may be transferred to another person with approval from the Recreation

Programmer. For withdrawals after the program start date, a prorated credit on account will be given only for medical reasons, accompanied by a doctor's note. On certain occasions the programmer may allow a refund back to your means of payment however this is not guaranteed. No prorating or refund will be provided if you miss classes due to travel, appointments, or falling ill.

If the Mid-Sun Community Association cancels programs or classes, a refund will be issued for the unused portion of your program.

Workshop and Event Refund Policy

Refunds are applicable solely for medical reasons and require documentation in the form of a doctor's note. In the event of program cancellation by the Mid-Sun Community Association, a refund will be issued. Refunds will not be issued on workshops and or events.

Registration may be transferred to another person with approval from the Recreation Programmer.

1. $10 administration fee is necessary to recover the costs associated with loss of instructor wages, processing fees, pre-planning staff wages, etc.

2. Credit on accounts will expire on June 15th of each year. If you do not use your credit within this time frame, you will forfeit this amount.

DROP IN PROGRAM WITHDRAWAL

No credits or refunds will be permitted for the following: walking club, pickleball drop in, and one-time trial class drop in.

All refund and credit policies are subject to change. Refunds may take up to 30 days to process (this isn't always the case). Refunds are processed on the 1st of every month.
