Cougar Women's Hockey Prospect Camp (Defense)

This camp is ideal for players who wish to play at the collegiate level. It is an introduction to our high performance hockey program to prospective student-athletes. The camp is for high performance players registered in U18 hockey for the 2024-25 season. As part of the camp, each athlete will take part in 2 practice sessions, 2 off-ice conditioning sessions, a 4v4 tournament, and 2 scrimmages. The ice sessions and conditioning sessions are meant to provide the athlete with an opportunity to experience a weekend in the life of a U Sports athlete.

The classroom session and university tour is open to the athletes and their parents and is always a highlight of the weekend. Families will take part in goal-setting and planning for the future with a focus on learning about how to gain an opportunity in hockey at the post-secondary level.

The camp will be run by our head coach, Brandy West-McMaster, and staffed predominantly by current and past Cougar hockey players and coaches.
