The University of Regina collects, creates and uses information from individuals in connection with non-credit programming ("personal information") under and pursuant to The University of Regina Act (Saskatchewan), The Local Authority Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (Saskatchewan) and the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (Canada), for purposes of recruitment, admission, enrollment, registration, and the administration of the University and its non-credit courses, programs and services. Some of this information may be reported as required by federal or provincial authority. Your personal information will be used for the purpose of providing you with various recreational and educational courses, programs and services at the University of Regina (including the Faculty of Kinesiology & Health Studies and the Centre for Continuing Education), which includes courses / program enrollment and administration, membership management and facility bookings. By enrolling in or contracting for non-credit courses, programs or services you are consenting to the collection, use and disclosure of personal information as described above. The University of Regina has contracted with ActiveNet to provide management software in order to administer the University's non-credit programming services. Information stored with ActiveNet is housed on servers outside of Saskatchewan and, therefore, may be subject to the laws of another jurisdiction.
