Note about Zoom: All video conferencing will be done through Zoom. You do not need an account but may be required to download the software to run this program on your computer and you will have to visit the app store to download the app on your cell phone or tablet. Participants will be required to use a device with both a microphone and web cam to engage with this course; these come standard on most tablets, smart phones, and laptops, but may not be available on your desktop computer.
These talks are supported by the Saskatchewan Orchestral Association (SOA) through their Project Grant program, which is supported by funding from the Saskatchewan Lotteries Trust Fund for Sport, Culture and Recreation through SaskCulture.
This talk is 45 minutes led by the Conservatory Head, Christa Eidsness, with 15 minutes for questions and answers at the end. These conversations are perfect for music students, artists, musicians, and community members interested in storytelling and learning more about the life of musicians.
This is a REMOTE DELIVERY program. There are NO meetings in person (or face-to-face) during this course. Participants will have an online classroom in CCE Community where you will go to find Zoom links and resources.
Note about CCE Community: If you were in group programs or private lesson in Fall 2020 or Winter 2021, you will already have an account created. If not, we will create an account for you and log-in information will be e-mailed by our Student Services Non-Credit Office prior to the course starting.
Please note: talks will be recorded. If you keep your camera and microphone off during the video conference call, you will not be included in the recording. Questions can be submitted through the chat function for those who do not wish to be recorded.
