Description
Adult Group Program Samplers are tastes of courses the Conservatory of Performing Arts offers throughout the year. Join us for one or all of the samplers this summer and discover your new artistic passions before committing to the fall term. Learn more about all of the Adult Group Program Samplers available this summer. For samplers for youth, check out our Virtual Summer Camps.
In The Virtual Orchestra Experience, discover how the Regina Community Orchestra (RCO) transitioned from in person to virtual programs in 2020. Learn from director Adrian Casas about struggles and successes they faced in the pandemic year. Get insight into how virtual orchestra practices look and, even though it is different, how virtual orchestras are providing valuable communities to musicians to connect and learn.
The RCO is open to anyone ages 13+ who wants to play symphonic music both classical and contemporary. This affordable ensemble provides an opportunity for members to play music that they enjoy, develop their musical skills further, and socialize with others having similar interests. Learn more about the RCO on our Musicianship & Theory page of our website.
This is a REMOTE DELIVERY program. There are NO meetings in person (or face-to-face) during this course. Participants will have an online classroom in CCE Community where you will go to find Zoom links, resources from your instructor, recommended materials, and any class announcements.
Note about CCE Community: If you were in group programs or private lesson in 2020-21, you will already have an account created. If not, we will create an account for you and log-in information will be e-mailed by our Student Services Non-Credit Office prior to the course starting.
