Description

Have you ever wanted to sing but feel you need some help finding your voice? Join the Conservatory Adult Choir with director Lori Potter! This fun and relaxed singing environment will introduce you to the basics of music and singing in 2-parts. This choir is suitable for experienced vocalists or singers looking for a casual vocal group to join. You will improve your singing skills with a friendly community of adult learners.

After our virtual choir rehearsal, the director is offering small in-person group classes to further learning: Theory for Singers and Singing in Harmony: An Introduction to 3- and 4-Part Singing.

Music pick-up or delivery for the term will happen in September (approximately 5 business days prior to the start date).

This is a REMOTE DELIVERY program. There are NO meetings in person (or face-to-face). Participants will have an online classroom in CCE Community where you will go to find Zoom links, resources from your instructor, recommended materials, and any class announcements.

Note about CCE Community: If you were in group programs or private lesson in 2020-21, you will already have an account created. If not, we will create an account for you and log-in information will be e-mailed by our Student Services Non-Credit Office prior to the course starting.

Note about Zoom: All video conferencing will be done through Zoom. You do not need an account but may be required to download the software to run this program on your computer and you will have to visit the app store to download the app on your cell phone or tablet. Participants will be required to use a device with both a microphone and web cam to engage with this course; these come standard on most tablets, smart phones, and laptops, but may not be available on your desktop computer.
