Description
Level 3: In Level 3, your child will learn: how to make decision about swimming in a safe environment--one where adults are present; support himself or herself on the surface of the water by treading water or floating for 20 seconds; enter the water from a sitting dive; swim 5 meters, three times in one lesson using the front crawl with alternating arm pulls, flutter kicks and breathing.

For children 5 years of age and older that have completed Red Cross Swim Preschool Crocodile or Red Cross Swim Kids Level 2 or who can perform deep water activities (assisted); glides front and back with kick and can swim for 10 metres continuously.
-----Arrive just before class with your swim gear on.
Participants are asked to maintain physical distancing from other participants and the instructor, during their swim lessons.
When coming onto campus, everyone must do a self-assessment. If your child is sick please keep them at home.
Parents are not permitted to stay on the pool deck unless participating in a lesson.
Everyone is asked to wear a mask while on campus, according to the University of Regina Masking guidelines https://www.uregina.ca/term-updates/health-safety/masks/index.html .
