CPA Introduction to Music (Ages 5-6.5) (IN PERSON)

Want to get your child involved in music but they may not be ready yet for Private Lessons? Our Introduction to Music classes are the perfect testers built to engage your child in the joys of music making. Classes will include introductions to musical concepts through play, song, and age appropriate activities your child is sure to love. We will learn songs by rote and by the end of each term your child will start to recognize basic musical theory concepts like scales, half/quarter notes, and pitch. Your child will also be exposed to a variety of orchestral instruments as we listen to new repertoire each week. As well, we will introduce piano and voice as the instructor plays along with our singing each week and learn more about orchestral instruments and music. This program is taught by Allison Luff.

Age is calculated at registration based on December 1, 2022. Contact our Student & Instructor Services Non-Credit Office to ask about age exemptions.
