Description
Under the expert guidance of our musical theatre instructors, students will secure their triple threat status by singing, dancing, and acting throughout the year. Advanced Glee students typically perform Musical Theatre International KIDS Broadway Junior productions (plays TBD for 2022-23) and stage musicals big enough for the stages on Broadway. There is no audition required to join this group. Whether you have never been on stage or if you already dance, everyone of all skill levels are welcome to join!
Groups will stage one performance in the Winter Term mid-May. This course is taught by Karen Rose.
Please note: many students in this program graduate from our Senior Glee program. Just so absolute beginners are aware that other participants in the class may have prior experience.

Note about UR Community: If you do not already have an account our Student & Instructor Services Non-Credit Office will create an account for you or your child and log-in information will be e-mailed prior to the course starting. All weekly course information from instructors should be posted and communicated in this online classroom. While this is not a hybrid program, if participants are ill or out of town, you could join this class via Zoom. Classrooms in UR Community will have a link to a Zoom classroom. Please just notify your instructor at least one business day before your class if you need to join class this way to ensure the instructor can accommodate your request.
